Images and artworks
Art & Signatures is an editorial project about art and architecture. Images of artworks are published for the purposes of illustration, review, and cultural commentary. Where possible, we use images from open-access collections of museums and cultural institutions, including (among others) The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Rijksmuseum, the Smithsonian, the Getty, and Wikimedia Commons, as well as images provided by artists and their representatives. Copyright in the artworks themselves remains with the artists, their estates, or other rights holders.
